I know what you’re probably thinking… two blog posts in one week!? Is she sick!? Is she dying!? Alas the answer is no… I’m just incredibly bored and have a wealth of time. And to take advantage of that time to my best abilities, I decided to take a break from watching Chinese Drama Boss and Me interspersed with Harry Potter fanvids to update you on a recent film I watched called Train to Busan! Beware… spoilers ahead!
Hello everyone! I know it’s been a ridiculously long time since I last wrote… What’s new, am I right? I could give you my typical excuses or I could just accept the inevitable, I am incredibly lazy and spectacular at putting things off.
However… one plus of my radio silence is that I have a looooot of things I want to talk about. The list goes on and on in terms of what I’ve been watching over the past couple of months, but the MOST PRESSING is… unsurprisingly… the drama that has already sparked so much conversation – W: Two Worlds.
Hello everyone! And Happy New Year! I know it’s nearly February already but as per usual I’ve been busy with life and all the messy intricacies that come along with it, so I haven’t gotten around to writing anything. But last night I (finally) finished the ridiculously long drama Reply 1988, so I decided to churn out a quick post about it – and specifically about the adorable OTP of Taek and Deok Sun. If you haven’t noticed from the title, this will be spoiler heavy!
So I promised to try and post more regularly… and I’m kind of doing it! Sort of! I’m currently swamped with work and interviews and life in general, so this is going to be a short catch-up post about what I’m watching right now.
First of all, possibly one of my new favorite dramas ever, the most amazing Flower Boy Next Door.
I know it’s been absolutely ages since I last posted anything, but I AM STILL HERE!! It’s really been crazy these past few weeks with my dissertation and life in general, so I’ve literally had no time to spare for blogging. After this week it should get a little better for me, and I promise to blog more over Christmas (because I will FINALLY have time). Also next semester I think I’ll have more time, because my module load is way less, so be prepared for awesome blogposts from me at a much more regular pace!
So, I can’t write a long post, but just in case you guys are searching out dramas at the moment, I’ll let you know what I’m currently watching!
First and foremost, the AMAZING Jdrama Piece
Yes, my eyes alone will melt your panties off… don’t deny it!
Pardon the slightly cliche title for this post, but it is actually quite fitting. I realize that in my last post I said I’d do a review of Rich Man Poor Woman, but I’ve decided to put that off at present. Why, you ask me? Well, for the simple reason that this morning, I finished watching Answer Me 1997 (also known as Reply 1997). I briefly discussed that drama in my last post as well, but after finishing it, I need to discuss it and something its perfection made me start thinking about.
I sincerely apologize about having not posted for so long. However, as a fourth year university student, currently writing my dissertation, I’ve had to deal with a massive increase in work. On top of that, I’ve been traveling and my laptop broke for a while, so all in all, it was lucky for me to even be able to get online to check my e-mail, let alone write a blog post.
Unfortunately, I’m not writing a full post right now. However, this is a promise post that this week, when I get the time (and unfortunately it might not even be til Saturday), I will write a full one. However, it will be a bit of a catch up, to let you guys know where I’m standing! Recently I’ve been finishing up two dramas that have been absolute pleasures to watch. One is a kdrama, and the other a jdrama, and both are absolutely amazing, and should be given a chance by everyone.
Firstly, the Kdrama, Answer Me 1997, or alternately known as Reply 1997.
Time for… My Favorite K Actors!!!! Male Edition. So, like my fave J-actors post, this will lean heavily towards the young and pretty. That’s just the type of shows I watch *sorry if you’re interested in something more mature*. Again, this list is in no particular order.
This man is just all kinds of pretty. I’m glad he’s beginning to get popular through Gaksital, though I’m happy to say I’ve been his fan for a while. He’s what kept Ojakyo Brothers interesting. The man manages to emote like none other. His crying makes other people cry, which is a very valuable skill as an actor. I’ve only watched one episode of Gaksital so far, but I was seriously impressed by him. I’m really looking forward to seeing more of him as a leading man to others.
So I was about to start making my Favorite KActors: male edition post when I realized it would take way too long (there are just too many for me to pick from). It’s already 11 pm, and I want to go to bed early tonight, so instead I’m just going to do another short little post on what my current Korean and Japanese Drama list looks like. It’ll be an update with shows I’ve finished watching, am watching, need to start watching, and look forward to watching!
So this is going to be a short but *hopefully* sweet post. Today I was organizing my images folder (it’s a form of procrastination, and it makes me happy to re-look at pics of shirtless men… don’t judge me) and I stumbled on this great picture from Queen Inhyun’s Man, of Ji Hyun Woo (playing Kim Boong Do).
